OSCE support for implementation of National Strategy for Development of Inter-culturalism and Social Cohesion

Skopje, 30 January 2024 (MIA) – The head of the Agency for Community Rights Realization, Eran Kurtish, Deputy Minister of Political System and Inter-Community Relations, Xhabir Doko, national coordinator for inter-culturalism and social cohesion Robert Alagjozovski, accompanied by North Macedonia’s diplomatic representative to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Beti Jacheva, met Tuesday with the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, Kairat Abdrakhmanov, in The Hague.

                                          

The High Commissioner on National Minorities expressed gratitude over the continued excellent cooperation with the authorities in North Macedonia, the Agency for Community Rights Realization and the other institutions.

 

 

In a press release, the OSCE said the OSCE Mission and the Office of the High Commissioner on National Minorities provided significant support in the implementation of the 2020-2022 National Strategy for Development of the “One Society For All” Concept, adding that their commitment is set to continue with the new 2024-2026 National Strategy for Development of Inter-culturalism and Social Cohesion through the recommendations of the High Commissioner which have been included in the 2024-2026 Action Plan.

 

The Organization said it supports the country’s minority communities, noting that the cooperation between the Agency and the OSCE Office on National Minorities is set to intensify in the coming period.
