Skopje, 22 September 2025 (MIA) - The promotion of economic cooperation between the Republic of Macedonia and the French Republic was discussed at a meeting Monday between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski and French Ambassador Christophe Le Rigoleur, the Ministry of Transport said in a press release.

The meeting, according to the Ministry, was also attended by representatives of France’s business community who were acquainted with the opportunities for beginning and advancing significant infrastructure projects of strategic importance for the country. 

The meeting highlighted the good bilateral relations between the countries, with interlocutors also exchanging views and opinions on political and economic issues in the country and the region.

Deputy Prime Minister Nikoloski presented the Government’s development plans and the planned infrastructure projects, especially the ones of regional importance, which also contribute to accelerated economic development of the countries in the region, the Ministry said.
