Skopje, 27 August 2021 (MIA) — The Commission for Infectious Diseases has accepted the request of the Tetovo Crisis Headquarters to start the 2021-22 school year in regional high schools online, due to the surge of new Covid-19 cases in the Polog region. Elementary schools will reopen, however, on Sept. 1. Minister of Health Venko Filipche, at a press conference held together with Tetovo Mayor Teuta Arifi, said regional high schools would start online classes on Sept. 1. Two weeks later, he added, the epidemiological situation would be evaluated again to see if classes should continue in person. mr/
