Skopje, 30 December 2022 (MIA) – A fire that broke out early Friday in a casino in Skopje’s Gjorce Petrov settlement has been put out, Zvonko Tomeski, commander of the City of Skopje’s fire department, told MIA.

No one died in the fire, Gjorce Petrov Mayor Aleksandar Stojkoski said earlier.

“A roof caught fire and work is ongoing to extinguish the fire,” he told reporters saying it is a private facility.

Six firefighting vehicles were sent to put out the fire that broke our early this morning. Traffic was rerouted in the municipality due to the fire.
