Sofia, 20 June 2022 (MIA) – The Bulgarian parliament’s committee on foreign affairs has not yet scheduled a session on the French proposal for settlement of the dispute between Bulgaria and North Macedonia, MIA reports from Sofia.
The Bulgarian National Television (BNT) reports that the parliamentary committee will probably meet on Thursday.
Committee members of the ruling coalition say the guarantees provided in the document are good for Bulgaria, with Skopje set to commit before the EU it will change the constitution and incorporate Bulgarians in it. Otherwise, North Macedonia will not start EU talks and the veto will not be lifted.
