Skopje, 21 May 2022 (MIA) – A fire that broke out in a warehouse within a Skopje old factory has been fully extinguished preventing it from burning nearby facilities in the factory’s complex. No one was injured in the fire, reported to the fire brigade at 4:55 am, only material damage has been recorded, commander of the Skopje Fire Brigade Zvonko Tomeski told MIA. Nine firefighting vehicles and 20 firemen were deployed to the scene, which included a warehouse storing plastics for recycling. “What was characteristic is that the fire hydrant network was out of order,” Tomeski stated.
