Skopje, 16 November 2022 (MIA) - The new head of the public prosecution for organized crime and corruption, Islam Abazi, on Wednesday was sworn in before the Council of Public Prosecutors before taking over the post from Vilma Ruskovska. Abazi and Ruskovska at the handover discussed the prosecution's activities so far and the work ahead. Abazi takes over from Ruskovska after at the November 7 direct elections, organized according to the new law on public prosecution, in which he won 66 votes.
