Skopje, 5 January 2022 (MIA) – Talks involving the formation of the new government and its program are in final stages. SDSM leader and future prime minister Dimitar Kovachevski is expected to unveil the names of the new government ministers at a Central Board session of SDSM on Monday, Sanja Lukarevska has said. Speaking to Kanal 5 TV on Wednesday, the SDSM vice president said after the unveiling, the procedure will continue in Parliament. “At this point, the leader and the secretary general are in intensive talks with the coalition partners, which are headed in positive direction. Fulfillment of certain strategic goals is being discussed. The focus will be on the economy, improvement of the living standards, improving the efficiency of institutions, as well as the country’s EU path,” Lukarevska said. The new government cabinet will be facing major challenges, she stressed. “The government will be, however, made up of professionals with experience who will deliver results and implement projects in the interest of the citizens,” said the top official of the ruling party.
