Negotino, 14 March 2024 (MIA) — Local elementary schoolchildren, high school students, municipality employees and public utility staff took part in a tree-planting drive organized by the Municipality of Negotino on Thursday, MIA's Kavadarci correspondent reports.

According to Negotino Mayor Goran Stojanov, 1,500 acacia saplings were planted near the Negotino village of Krivolak, in an area known as Goli Gas.

The spring tree-planting drive was part of Negotino's annual environmental protection program, Mayor Stojanov said. More afforestation activities were forthcoming, he added. mr/
