Skopje, 3 August 2023 (MIA) - Justice Minister Krenar Lloga and head of the National Security Agency, Zarko Miloshevski, signed Thursday a memorandum of direct cooperation between the National Security Agency and the Ministry of Justice, with the aim of protecting the national security of North Macedonia.

The memorandum sets the data, information and experiences that will be exchanged, and regulates the manner and procedure of exchanging data and information between the contracting parties, as well as the exchange of experience, cooperation in building personnel capacities, necessary training, setting priorities in other areas of interest, the Ministry of Justice said in a press release.

"The safety of the citizens and the country is one of the most important priorities, while cooperation between institutions increases efficiency and the quality of services. We remain committed to the rule of law and a safe future for our citizens," the press release reads. ssh/nn/
