Skopje, 20 March 2024 (MIA) — The National Opera and Ballet is staging "La dame aux camélias" ballet based on Alexandre Dumas' novel put to music by Giuseppe Verdi in his "La traviata."

Mimi Pop Aleksova Atanasovska and Boban Kovachevski perform the leading roles, accompanied by the National Opera and Ballet ensemble and orchestra conducted by Ivan Eminovikj.

The choreography is by Russian choreographer Vasily Medvedev of Moscow's Bolshoi and St. Petersburg's Mariinsky theaters. The set and the costumes were designed by Pavol Juráš from Slovakia. mr/
