Skopje, 21 February 2024 (MIA) — The National Opera and Ballet is staging "La dame aux camélias" ballet based on Giuseppe Verdi's "La Traviata."

Maria Kichevska Shokarovska and Francisco Giménez Ruiz perform the leading roles, accompanied by the National Opera and Ballet ensemble and orchestra conducted by Ivan Eminovikj.

The choreography is by Russian choreographer Vasily Medvedev of Moscow's Bolshoi and St. Petersburg's Mariinsky theaters. The set and the costumes were designed by Pavol Juráš from Slovakia. The concertmaster is Kliment Todoroski. mr/
