Skopje, 23 January 2024 (MIA) — The recently formed National Jazz Orchestra will give its inaugural concert at the National Opera and Ballet this evening. 

Titled "Jazz Nova," the concert will present big band works by prominent Macedonian jazz composers.

The new national orchestra's 2024-25 concert season will continue with performances featuring domestic, regional and world jazz musicians.

The season will feature "a carefully selected repertoire that follows current jazz music trends," the National Jazz Orchestra announced in a press release. mr/
