'My Health' platform promoted

Skopje, 25 May 2023 (MIA) - "My Health" application was presented in Skopje on Thursday, though which every citizen will have insight into their own health data. The application is connected to the My Appointment e-service, from where all data is downloaded, including general practitioner appointments, specialist, laboratory, diagnostic, and hospital referrals, prescriptions, vaccinations.

Health Minister Fatmir Mexhiti said the application "is going to transform the way we manage our health."

"Through the 'My Health' application, one can easily access and search the medical history. This application puts the power of information right into your hands. What sets 'My Health' apart is its seamless integration into the 'My Appointment' e-service system," the Minister pointed out.

Minister of Information Society and Administration Azir Aliu noted that the Ministry supported all digitalized processes or the ones that are part of the digitalization process.

"The creation of a digitalization agency. We work exclusively with all ministries and institutions with which we want to improve that process, or start the process of digitalizing services in which they exist," added Aliu.

Ministry of Health Spokesperson Berna Sherifovska stated that the application promises an improved healthcare, i.e. it provides easy, fast, and efficient approach to citizen's medical history.

"My Health brings modern technology and the importance of accurate, and up-to-date information at your fingertips. In addition to the incredible potential, it is important to emphasize that special attention is given to data security, because the confidentiality and security of personal data is important," said Sherifovska.
