Skopje, 16 October 2025 (MIA) - The Macedonian Radio Television (MRT) failed to broadcast its news programmes at 5 p.m., 7.30 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. on Wednesday due to a major technical issue.

"Checks are currently being made to determine if there was a malicious attack on the system due to suspicion of firewall breaches," said MRT in a press release.

MRT apologizes to the citizens and assures them it will continue to provide timely and objective reporting.
