MoI Spasovski visits renovated police station in Chashka
Skopje, 28 August 2021 (MIA) – The Chashka police department building has been fully renovated, in line with the plan for building reconstruction and improving the working conditions of Interior Ministry employees. On that occasion, Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski visited the site on Saturday and met with the heads of the Veles police and the Chashka police station. He noted that the reconstruction of the building entailed full repair of its roof, as well as installation of thermal isolation, new electrical installation, windows and heating system. “I’m glad to see the colleagues from this police department get the opportunity to work in a high-quality, renovated working space, which will improve the standard of services provided to citizens by the police,” Spasovski said. He added that the reconstruction project cost Mden 5,000,000 from the Interior Ministry’s budget. Moreover, the Minister said that since November 2020, a total of 11 buildings have been renovated, while construction works are underway at others and expected to be done by the end of the year. As part of the working visit Minister Spasovski also met with Chashka municipality mayor Goran Stojanovski and reaffirmed excellent cooperation between the police and the local self-government.
