Skopje, 18 October 2021 (MIA) – On Friday and Saturday a total of 3,250 vaccine doses were administered across the country, including 884 people who received their first dose, 2,257 who got fully vaccinated and 109 who were given a third dose, the Ministry of Health said in a press release on Monday. By October 16, a total of 799,012 citizens received the first vaccine dose, 760,317 were fully vaccinated and 1,148 got the booster shot. 54% of people over 40 have been fully vaccinated, while 33% of those aged 18-39 have received at least vaccine dose, the press release read. The vaccination rate with one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine of the adult population is 47% and 45% of people over 18 have been fully vaccinated. According to the number of administered vaccines, 38% of the total population is vaccinated with 35% of the population in the country being fully vaccinated after having received two doses, said the press release.
