MoH: 46% of adult population fully vaccinated, 36,424 received booster shots
Skopje, 3 November 2021 (MIA) – In the past two days, 9,009 vaccine doses were administered in North Macedonia. Of these, 1,873 people received the first vaccine dose, 1,580 the second and 5,536 citizens got the third shot. As of Tuesday, a total of 806,781 citizens have been vaccinated against COVID-19 nationwide, 777,655 have been fully vaccinated, and 36,424 people have received their booster dose, the Ministry of Health said on Wednesday.
The Ministry’s latest figures show that 54% of people over the age of 40 received two vaccine doses, and 33% of 18-39-year-olds have received at least one shot.
In addition, 57% of the adult population has received one vaccine dose, and 46% of citizens over 18 have received two vaccine doses. According to the number of administered vaccines, 39% of the country’s entire population received at least one vaccine dose, and 35% received two vaccine doses.
