Skopje, 27 January 2026 (MIA) - The Parliament's Defense and Security Committee reviewed Tuesday the report on the allocation of Amendment 2 of the Technical Arrangement related to the procurement of 42 eight-wheeled light armored vehicles Stryker MK-B-UCE, concluded between the Governments of the Republic of North Macedonia and the United States of America.

Defense Minister Vlado Misajlovski said in the report's elaboration it is a technical amendment, since 17 vehicles have already arrived at a port in Greece.
"The agreement involves 42 Stryker vehicles that are set to arrive in the course of this year. Seventeen are already in the Greek port and a technical arrangement is needed in order to meet the U.S. request to have this as an amendment in order to install the entire equipment etc. The Ministry of Defense is the end-user, meaning that full training will be required as well. This is a technical amendment, nothing more. The agreement is all good. All vehicles will arrive this year," said Misajlovski.
