Ministry of Finance to allocate EUR 500,000 for travel and accommodation of families of patients treated abroad

Skopje, 18 March 2025 (MIA) - The Government has tasked the Ministry of Finance with allocating Mden 30 million (EUR 500,000) in assistance for travel and accommodation of families of Kochani nightclub fire patients who are treated abroad, Spokeswoman Marija Miteva said on Tuesday.

"Travel and accommodation costs have already been covered for 58 persons. The decision will also refer to persons who left abroad prior to its adoption and the payment will be made retroactively," Miteva told a press conference.

She also said the State Market Inspectorate has carried out inspections regarding licenses of businesses registered as cabarets and nightclubs.
