Minister Trenchevska to attend international conference in Montenegro

Skopje, 22 June 2023 (MIA) – Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Jovanka Trenchevska, is on a two-day visit to Montenegro, where she will take part in an international conference on human rights within the framework of protection from discrimination.

 

According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, the conference will be opened by the Montenegrin Prime Minister, Dritan Abazović, and hosted by the Montenegrin Minister of Human and Minority Rights, Fatmir Gjeka.

 

The Macedonian Ambassador to Montenegro, Zećir Ramčilović, will also give an introductory address at the conference.

 

Minister Trenchevska will address a panel on combating hate speech as a modern field of antidiscrimination.

 

High representatives from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, Kosovo, Greece, Bulgaria and Moldova, as well as representatives of the Council of Europe and the EU Delegation in Montenegro are to attend the conference.
