Minister of European Affairs Murtezani in Warsaw and Kyiv
Skopje, 16 January 2025 (MIA) - Minister of European Affairs Orhan Murtezani is paying visits to Poland and Ukraine on January 16-19.
In Poland, Minister Murtezani is set to meet with Minister for the European Union, Adam Szłapka, and discuss priorities of the Polish EU Presidency in the first half of 2025 and North Macedonia's accession talks, the Ministry of European Affairs said in a press release.
Murtezani will then travel to Ukraine, where he is scheduled to meet with Deputy PM for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice, Olha Stefanishyna. During the visit, the two countries will sign a memorandum of cooperation in the field of European integration and support to Kyiv's EU membership path.
Minister Murtezani will also meet with Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, chairwoman of the Ukrainian Parliament's EU integration committee, Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebyinis, and Deputy Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications Andrii Nadzhos, reads the press release.
