Skopje, 22 July 2024 (MIA) - Defense Minister Vlado Misajlovski met Monday with Ambassador of Japan, Kazuya Otsuka.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the meeting focused on the friendly relations with Japan, as well as the need to enhance bilateral ties and establish defense cooperation between the two countries. 

At the meeting, Minister Misajlovski expressed gratitude over Japan’s continued assistance and contribution to the strengthening of the stability and prosperity of the Western Balkans. 

Ambassador Otsuka voiced his support for the upcoming reform processes aimed at the country’s development and fulfillment of its second strategic goal – membership into the European Union.
