Minister Bozhinovska meets Slovak Ambassador Hricová, highlight potential for larger cooperation in energy sector

Skopje, 22 November 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources Sanja Bozhinovska met Saturday with Slovak Ambassador Iveta Hricová, discussing the enhancement of political ties and new opportunities for bilateral cooperation.
Minister Bozhinovska and Ambassador Hricová focused on the potential for cooperation in the energy sector, transformation of energy systems and use of Slovakia's experiences in green technologies and regional energy planning, the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources said in a press release.

"We are focusing on a stable energy system, contemporary approach to reforms and partnership, aimed at bringing the country forward. Slovakia is a big friend and both countries have large room for higher level of cooperation," said Bozhinovska.
Ambassador Hricová saluted the reforms' dynamics and stressed the readiness for continued communication and enhancement of cooperation in various fields related to energy transition, modernization and digital development.

Interlocutors referred to the visit of a Slovakian government delegation early next year, during which discussions would continue at the highest level, including the topics of energy and investments, reads the press release.
