Skopje, 13 February 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski, who is in United Arab Emirates (UAE) visit attending the World Governments Summit 2025, met with Abdulla Nasser Lootah, Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange.

Talks focused on development and competitiveness in data management, especially given Lootah's key role in strengthening the UAE's position on the global stage in that regard, with a particular emphasis on sustainable development and innovation in the field of data management, the Ministry of Digital Transformation said in a press release. 

Andonovski highlighted the Macedonian Government's commitment to the country's progress in the area of digital transformation of society, economic transformation, as well as favourable conditions for doing business. 

"We must put Macedonia back on the map of countries that are pioneers in progress, innovation, with accessible services for citizens and the business sector. As a small country, we have enormous potential for cooperation and exchange of knowledge with successful countries like the United Arab Emirates," Minister Andonovski said.
