Ankara, 1 September 2023 (MIA) - Minister of Information Society and Administration Azir Aliu met with Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, in Ankara on Friday, discussing North Macedonia's progress with digitalization reforms, the Ministry of Information Society and Administration said in a press release.  

"I congratulated Minister Kacır on organizing the "Teknofest" aerospace and technology festival, whose goal was promoting national technology. We reaffirmed our mutual engagement for close and coordinated cooperation, and reviewed possibilities for new joint projects in the area of digitalization," Aliu said.

The press release adds that Minister Aliu stressed the importance of sharing experiences, bilateral cooperation and implementing joint projects in the field of digitalization and innovation.

"It will significantly impact the growth, productivity and competitiveness of the economy, which is a common interest to both countries. It would be our pleasure to host our next meeting," Aliu added. ssh/nn/
