Ohrid, 16 August 2023 (MIA) — Macedonian pianist Mimoza Keka will give a recital at St. Sophia church at 9 pm as part of this year's Ohrid Summer festival. She will perform pieces by Ludwig van Beethoven, Leoš Janáček, Frédéric Chopin, and Franz Liszt.

Mimoza Keka (b. 1994, Skopje) is a classical concert pianist, chamber musician, music researcher, and recording artist. She has a PhD in Musical Arts from the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. In 2022 she released her first solo album, "Non-Fungible," of works by Bach, Scriabin and Barber.

She has given solo recitals at major music festivals in North Macedonia including Golden Lyre, Days of Macedonian Music in Skopje, Fall Music Festivities, and Musica Viva. mr/
