Skopje, 5 May 2024 (MIA) - In these elections, VMRO-DPMNE is close to a majority in the Parliament and I would not be surprised if we have 61 MP seats, the party's leader Hristijan Mickoski said in response to a reporter's question on Sunday.
"I believe we'll celebrate a convincing double win on Wednesday. Gordana Siljanovska Davkova will be the next President of Macedonia, and VMRO-DPMNE and the coalition "Your Macedonia" will have 61 MPs," Mickoski said on Sunday.
According to him, success is above all what happened in the first round of the presidential elections, and he expects massive voter turnout in the second round of the presidential elections as well.
"Thanks to Macedonian citizens. Thanks to all those who voted for the next president, Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, and I thank in advance all those citizens, who I feel will massively turn out for the elections on Wednesday and massively cast their votes for the next president and for the coalition "Your Macedonia" led by VMRO-DPMNE," Mickoski added.
Mickoski, who attended an Easter Sunday mass at the St. Clement of Ohrid Church, wished happy Easter, harmony and peace for all.
