Tetovo, 16 September 2025 (MIA) - About 20 individuals have been identified of being behind the fires. Unfortunately, there are power centers that want to instill fear and panic among citizens ahead of the elections, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Tuesday.

"About 20 individuals have been identified by the Ministry of Interior of being behind the fires. In parallel, we have had reports in recent days that will be acted upon by the MoI and the Ministry of Environment. Unfortunately, there are structures that want to sow instability and unrest in this way. As I already said, they will undermine but we will work and fight, and we'll win eventually," PM Mickoski told reporters.

The PM referred to a recording of an arsonist in a car repair shop in Skopje early this morning.

"This is another proof of what I have been saying all along. Regretfully, there are power centers that are attempting to instill fear and panic among citizens ahead of the elections. I believe you will get the answer to this question after conducting a brief analysis," noted Mickoski.
