Mickoski: On November 2, go out and vote so we can continue reforms in Zrnovci and Cheshinovo-Obleshevo

Skopje, 27 October 2025 (MIA) – On November 2, go out and vote based on your beliefs. I’m confident that if we vote with heart and reason, we will choose number 9 for the winning VMRO-DPMNE coalition. Not voting is not an option or a way to express dissatisfaction, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said at meetings with citizens in Zrnovci and Cheshinovo-Obleshevo.

“Let us give support so that the projects taking place in the municipality of Zrnovci can continue. As a government and as a coalition, we are grateful that you went out and cast your vote for Borche. VMRO-DPMNE and the coalition already have 33 mayors, and in the second round, in 26 municipalities, we are mostly in first place. In only five or six municipalities are we in second place, with the difference measured in tens of votes. We believe that we will gain the trust in the second round and reach a total of 59 mayors. When we add the capital city and the 58 municipalities where our councilor lists won majorities, we reach an impressive figure of 60 municipalities out of 80, something no political party has ever achieved before. We are grateful that the people have recognized that the policies of this government are reform-oriented, forward-looking, and deliver on the promises made,” Mickoski said in Zrnovci.

Mickoski reminded that in the past 15 months, the government delivered on its promises, raising pensions, allocating more municipal funds, and keeping its pledge not to compromise on national issues or allow corruption. He noted that for 16 months, there has not been a single scandal or proven suspicion.

Mickoski said that the opposition’s negative campaign was rejected by citizens and urged voters to turn out on November 2 and support number 9. He voiced full support for Borche and expressed confidence in victory in Zrnovci to continue reform projects.

At meetings with residents of Cheshinovo-Obleshevo, he also appealed for citizens to go out and vote on November 2, stressing that not voting is not a way to express dissatisfaction or defiance.

“By staying home, you are not punishing anyone, you are only punishing yourselves, Cheshinovo-Obleshevo, and Macedonia as a country, while doing a favor to other politicians like Ali Ahmeti and the rest,” Mickoski said.

He said that the Government will continue to provide the greatest support to the farmers in this region.

“The final message I want to convey is that the majority of residents in the Municipality of Cheshinovo-Obleshevo are people engaged in agriculture. We will continue and further enhance our support for farmers. I personally, as Prime Minister, am your friend and partner. I would like, during tomorrow’s visit of the Minister of Agriculture, for us to define everything that needs to be completed in the period ahead, and I am convinced that in this way we will all emerge as winners from the situation we are in. Despite all the challenges and the difficult, inherited circumstances, especially with the water management public enterprise, we have managed in the past period to secure sufficient quantities for irrigation, what farmers need within the available means, even more than what we could, and I am convinced we will continue this way in the period ahead,” Mickoski said.
