Skopje, 25 February 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said Tuesday no one should have any dilemmas about the country's alignment with the European Union's common foreign and security policy.

PM Mickoski was quizzed by reporters about the issue after North Macedonia co-sponsored a United States resolution on Ukraine.

"We sided with our strategic partner the U.S. alongside an EU member-state Hungary, so an aligned EU foreign policy is not the issue here. When it comes to our alignment with the Union's foreign policy, no one should have any dilemmas that we will always be aligned with the common foreign and security policy, but this was not the case now. We co-sponsored a U.S. resolution that is the only resolution adopted by the United Nations Security Council, which means it is applicative," Mickoski told a press conference.
