Ohrid, 18 March 2023 (MIA) — This Parliament will pass no constitutional changes dictated by Bulgaria, VMRO-DPMNE head Hristijan Mickoski said in Ohrid commenting on the government's announcement it would form working groups to write amendments to the Constitution.
“There will be no constitutional changes in this parliamentary composition under Bulgarian dictation and in these circumstances,” Mickoski told a gathering in Ohrid.
“We have had a principled position from the very beginning. They [the government] created a problem they cannot solve. They created a problem that now we all have. And if they keep complicating it, they will all crash into a dead end.
“Unfortunately, this will be a huge problem for all citizens and for Macedonia as a country. But I promise you that there will be responsibility taken for all they are doing, immediately after the new VMRO-DPMNE government takes responsibility,” Mickoski said.
Mickoski visited Ohrid on Saturday to inspect street construction work together with Ohrid Mayor Kiril Pecakov. mr/
