Skopje, 23 May 2026 (MIA) – Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said Saturday he held a phone call with Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansha to congratulate him on forming the new government in Slovenia.

In a Facebook post, Mickoski said he wished Slovenia stability, progress and successful work in the period to come. 

During the conversation, he added, the joint commitment to deepening friendly relations, political cooperation and partnership between the two countries was reaffirmed. 

“Macedonia and Slovenia continue to build strong ties based on mutual respect, European values and a joint vision for development, stability and better future for our citizens,” Mickoski wrote.
