Skopje, 24 November 2025 (MIA) – Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said Monday that inflation projections for next year are between two and three percent. The Government's expectations for core inflation are at the same level.

In response to reporters' questions, Mickoski also commented on the decision of the Commission for the Protection of Competition to impose fines against Chambers of Commerce and four other major retail chains due to coordinated price hikes. 

"Let's leave it to the antimonopoly commission to get its job done. I believe there will be a resolution soon," said PM Mickoski, who attended on Monday the opening of a resource centre for municipal development organized by the Ministry of Local Self-Government.
