Vinica, 2 October 2025 (MIA) - VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski told a rally in Vinica late on Thursday that the unprincipled coaltion between Levica and DUI is clear to see.

"This is the coalition that Ali Ahmeti and Dimche (Dimitar) Apasiev made. This coalition is very dangerous, because we saw the activists and members of Levica taking part in the Colorful Coalition, when they destroyed and burned state property. Lately, we have seen them using party funds for personal benefit," said Mickoski.

He added that Levica has a new boos nowadays, Ali Ahmeti.

"They nominate candidates in municipalities where they don't have a theoretic chance to win, such as Tetovo, Gostivar and Struga," said Mickoski.

According to him, if Levica believe they are strong as a party, they should have nominated candidates in Apasiev's native town of Veles, or Shtip of Levica MP Borislav Krmov.

"The answer is very simple: they play a proxy role for DUI's needs and aim to accumulate anti-DUI votes in order to benefit their new boss Ahmeti", said Mickoski.

Vinica mayor candidate Mitko Kostadinovski said the town witnessed positive changes over the past four years, with many projects implemented and a lot of problems solved, while promising to be responsible, transparent and accountable, with zero tolerance for corruption and in the citizens' interest.

Kostadinovski said the programme was developed in line with the needs and requirements of the Vinica citizens.

The programme's priority projects are construction of a sports hall, rehabilitation of the city park and green areas, as well as projects in the field of traffic, road infrastructure, new urban plans and economic zone, aimed at developing Vinica.
