Skopje, 27 June 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski met Thursday with EU Ambassador David Geer, discussing current political and economic affairs and the country's progress towards European integration. 

Mickoski stressed the importance of the European Union's support for the country's reform processes and stability, noting that the Government will continue to work together with the EU in the spirit of partnership and common values, the Government said in a press release. 

Ambassador Geer, the press release adds, reaffirmed the EU's commitment to continue the excellent cooperation with North Macedonia, expressing readiness for support in key reforms and projects in the coming period. 

"Interlocutors agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations and intensify cooperation in various areas of mutual interest," reads the press release.
