Skopje, 31 December 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski extended New Year’s greetings in a post on his official Facebook profile on Tuesday, noting that 2024 was a year of challenges and new beginnings, while 2025 will be a year of “growth, order and integration”, as well as investments in the economy, infrastructure and education, “with a focus on a better life for all”.
“Dear citizens of Macedonia, dear compatriots, dear friends, one more year has ended. 2024 was a year of challenges but also of new beginnings. The people chose the future and gave us a mandate for changes. We inherited a country in a difficult state, but through effort and a clear plan we have achieved growth of 3 percent, increased pensions and wages, new investments and projects for a better life. We have opened a front against crime and corruption and laid the foundations for stable development,” Mickoski said.
The PM said the Government would work to ensure a better life for all in 2025.
“2025 will be a year of hope, optimism, successes and lots of work. We will work hard and with commitment in 2025 so we can build the kind of Macedonia that all of you, the citizens, wish for and the kind that we all deserve. A Macedonia that will be yours again. May you have a happy and successful new year, full of health, happiness and lots of love. God bless Macedonia and its citizens,” Mickoski said in his greeting.
