MIA's Athens correspondent elected vice-president of FPA
- MIA's Athens correspondent Sanja Ristovska has been elected vice-president of the new Board of Directors of the Foreign Press Association of Greece (FPA), after elections held last week.
Athens, 9 November 2023 (MIA) - MIA's Athens correspondent Sanja Ristovska has been elected vice-president of the new Board of Directors of the Foreign Press Association of Greece (FPA), after elections held last week.
FPA unanimously elected the members, including Politico’s Nektaria Stamouli as president, and Ristovska as vice-president.
FPA holds elections every two years, and this is the second time MIA's correspondent is elected a member of the Board of Directors, previously being the secretary general.
FPA is a non-profit and non-government association founded in 1916, and is the only officially recognized organization for foreign media representatives in Greece, including approximately 200 members representing 100 foreign media from 30 countries.
Ristovska has been MIA's Athens correspondent since 2018. ssh/nn/
