9 September 2021 Skopje — The Government on Thursday observed a minute of silence for the 14 people killed in the fire in the modular covid hospital in Tetovo on Wednesday night and declared three days of national mourning, Sept. 9-11, according to an official press release. Skopje – North Macedonia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in line with the Government’s decision to declare three days of national mourning in honor of the victims of the tragic fire that took over the modular Covid hospital in Tetovo, flags fly at half-staff in all embassies and missions abroad. Skopje — The U.S. Ambassador to North Macedonia, Kate Byrnes, offered her condolences over the Tetovo fire in which 14 people died on Wednesday night. Skopje – The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed on Thursday condolences to the families of the victims in the Tetovo hospital fire and wished a fast recovery to the injured.
