Skopje – North Macedonia is ready for the launch of the census on Sunday, Sept. 5, government spokesperson Dushko Arsovski told a press conference on Wednesday.
Skopje – North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani said although the political situation in Bulgaria is quite complex, Skopje will continue to work both with Sofia and with the European partners, with the aim to start EU accession negotiations as soon as possible.
Skopje – The government adopted the measure for mandatory vaccination certificate or proof of recovery from the virus upon exiting North Macedonia, so as the country isn’t labeled a virus exporter, and to support mass immunization as the best way to curb the spread of Covid-19, government spokesperson Muamet Hoxha told a press conference on Wednesday.
Skopje – North Macedonia’s Prime Minister Zoran Zaev has arrived in Bled to take part in the 16th Bled Strategic Forum. This year’s focus of the event is the future of Europe. According to the Government, Zaev was welcomed by Slovenia’s Prime Minister Janez Janša, after which the two headed to the first Leaders’ Panel which was addressed by European Parliament President David Sassoli.
Skopje — Slovenia and entire Europe are looking forward to finding a solution to the issues between Bulgaria and North Macedonia, and the current Slovenian EU presidency is a chance to rise to the challenge, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and Slovenian President Borut Bahor said at a meeting Wednesday held on the sidelines of the Bled Strategic Forum.
Skopje – North Macedonia’s European perspective must be realized in line with the EU council decision, having in mind results achieved in implementation of the European agenda, Danish Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod said during a meeting with North Macedonia’s Deputy PM for European Affairs Nikola Dimitrov on Wednesday.

Skopje – The Ministry of Health said in press release on Wednesday that a 15-year-old female patient from the Tetovo village of Selce passed away at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases. She, the release read, was brought to the clinic in serious condition, after showing virus symptoms for 13 days.
Skopje – The government is involved in an extensive global humanitarian operation, and citizens should be proud of it, especially because we’re helping people whose lives are at risk, said government spokesperson Dushko Arsovski on Wednesday, in response to the opposition leader’s position against the decision to take in Afghan nationals.
Jerusalem — Some 2,458,000 Israeli children from kindergarten through high school returned to class on Wednesday and began the school year amid a high Covid-19 infection rate in the country. The students were required to take a rapid coronavirus test at home before going to school, as fears loom of a mass spike in infections in the classes.
Skopje – According to the Health Ministry, 13,037 citizens were vaccinated on Tuesday against COVID-19 nationwide, including 5,486 who received the first dose. A total of 728,628 citizens have been jabbed in North Macedonia so far, while 539,037 have received both doses.
Bucharest — Over 70 children infected with the new coronavirus are hospitalized in intensive care units, some of them with ‘very severe’ forms, others with moderate and ‘relatively mild’ forms, Romania’s Minister of Health Ioana Mihaila told a press conference Wednesday.
Skopje – Industrial production dropped by 0.6% in July 2021 compared to July 2020, but increased by 5.4% in the period January-July 2021 in comparison with the same period last year, State Statistical Office data shows.
