Skopje, 17 October 2023 (MIA) - The medical team that performed the first liver transplant in the country, as well as professor Afrim Osmani, artist Robert Jankuloski and writer Blazhe Minevski, are this year's winners of the "23 October" state award, the Ministry of Culture said in a press release. 

The liver transplantation team including Zoran Karadzhov, Svetozar Antovikj, Beti Todorovska, Tatjana Spirovska and Maja Mojsova Mijovska will receive the award for achievements in science and education.  

University professor Afrim Osmani will also receive the award for achievements in this field. 

Visual artist Robert Jankuloski and writer Blazhe Minevski will receive the award for achievements in culture and art. 

The award will be presented on October 23 at the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia.
