Marjan Tanushevski takes over as head of Macedonian Cultural Information Center in Serbia

Belgrade, 6 June 2024 (MIA) - Former MIA journalist Marjan Tanushevski took over Thursday as the first director of the Macedonian Cultural Information Center in Belgrade, the Republic of Serbia.
North Macedonia’s Ambassador in Belgrade, Nikola Tupancheski, wished Tanushevski success in his work at a reception at the country’s Embassy in Serbia.
The Cultural Information Centers, established because of an agreement between the two countries to open centers in Belgrade and Skopje, will provide informational services, present contemporary works and cultural heritage in all fields of culture and art, and host exhibitions.
“In accordance with the cooperation agreement between the two countries, the Macedonian Cultural Information Center in the future will host and co-host literary, scientific and other thematic symposiums, lectures, musical and smaller stage performances, as well as other events from the field of culture,” Tanushevski said.
According to Culture Minister Bisera Kostadinovska-Stojchevska, the opening of the country’s Cultural Information Center in Belgrade will further strengthen cultural cooperation with Serbia.
