Rome, 2 July 2023 (dpa/MIA) - Inter Milan on Saturday announced the signing of France forward Marcus Thuram on a free transfer from Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund.
"Tikus’ adventure with the Nerazzurri has officially begun," the Champions League finalists said.
Inter gave no contract details, with news reports saying he signed a five-year contract. He is to replace veteran striker Edin Dzeko, who has left for Turkey's Fenerbahce.
Thuram, 25, spent four years at Gladbach, scoring 34 goals in 111 Bundesliga matches. He made his Champions League debut for them, in a game against Inter at the San Siro in 2020.
Thuram was born in Italy, in Parma, where his father Lilian, a World Cup 1998 and Euro 2000 champion, played at the time.
