Skopje, 26 September 2025 (MIA) – Ohrid hosts Friday and Saturday the Annual Conference of the Macedonian Stock Exchange.

Ivan Shteriev CEO of the Macedonian Stock Exchange, will deliver a welcome address with Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska Kochoska and Bujare Abazi, President of the Securities and Exchange Commission, delivering opening speeches. 

National Bank Governor Trajko Slaveski and NLB Ljubljana CEO Blaz Brodnjak will speak about the challenges monetary policy is facing amid increasing insecurity, it has been announced. 

This year’s program features key topics, including Macedonian and regional economic perspectives, opportunities and challenges regarding IPO and growth of domestic companies, development of the capital market through multifunds and ETFs, the importance of small stock exchanges, the influence of updated standards for financial reporting and trends in digital transformation of companies.

The Macedonian Stock Exchanges’ Annual Conference is one of the most important finance-related events in Macedonia that brings together key figures in the financial sector, including banks, investment and pension funds, brokerage companies as well as regulators, academics and media representatives. Speakers and participants from abroad, mainly from capital markets from Southeast Europe, also take part in the event,
