Tirana, 10 October 2023 (MIA) - The Albanian police has arrested a 45-year-old Macedonian national in Durres while attempting to leave the country using a Serbian passport, MIA reports from Tirana.

Upon detailed police checks in cooperation with Interpol Tirana, it was confirmed that person Xhengiz Sejdi a.k.a Xhengiz Iseini is wanted for murder by the authorities in North Macedonia, the police said in a press release.

It adds that Interpol Tirana is cooperating with their Macedonian counterparts on the procedures for the person's extradition.
