Maribor, 2 March 2025 (MIA) – The Macedonian national ju-jitsu team, in both men's and women's competitions, won four medals on the first day of the Slovenia Open traditional international tournament, taking place this weekend in Maribor.

On the first day of the tournament's 20th edition in Maribor, Jovan Nikoliski and Danil Nikoliski won the gold medal, while Marija Trenevska and Zoran Kolevski won bronze.

Naum Grpov and Nina Kareva won fourth place in their competition.

On Sunday, Danil Nikoliski performs in the senior competition and Antonio Stojcheski in the under-18 category.
