Macedonian national arrested in Kosovo with €150.000 worth of heroin

Pristina, 22 August 2024 (MIA) - The Kosovo police said it had arrested Wednesday a national of North Macedonia due to the possession of over six kilograms of heroin intended for sale, MIA’s Pristina correspondent reports.
The police said the suspect received the heroin from two other individuals who left the area in a vehicle.
The seized heroin is worth around EUR 150.000.
“Following an intervention by the Kosovo police, six packages of a heroin weighing 6.137,6 grams (6 kilograms and 137 grams) were found in the suspect’s possession. The value of the seized suspicious narcotic substance is estimated to be around EUR 150.000,” the police said in a press release.
Two phones, a car and Mden 4.305 were seized as evidence.
The suspect has been given a 48-hour detention, while the police are still searching for the other two individuals.
