Skopje, 3 January 2022 (MIA) – The Macedonian men’s handball team continued its winning streak in the preparations for the EHF EURO 2022, defeating Israel 31:28 (14:15) in Skopje on Monday. Nenad Kosteski, who scored five goals, was the most efficient players in the Macedonian team in the first of two friendly matches against the Israeli national team, while Filip Kuzmanovski and Cvetan Kuzmanoski scored a goal less each. Fixtures against Israel are played behind closed doors, with the second duel scheduled for Tuesday, also in Skopje, at 6 pm. Last week, the Macedonian national team recorded two victories over Kuwait in the preparations for the European Championship, where North Macedonia will first face Slovenia on Jan. 13 in Debrecen.
