Macedonian Diplomacy Day - 55 years of Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Skopje, 29 April 2024 (MIA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs marks 55 years from its establishment on Monday.
Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani will hold a press conference on the occasion, whereas the Diplomatic Club marked the Macedonian Diplomacy Day by planting a tree in front of the MFA building and paid a visit to the ASNOM Memorial Museum in Pelince on Sunday.
The then-Foreign Affairs Bureau was established in 1969. Republic of Macedonia had its diplomats within the former Yugoslavia diplomacy in Belgrade and abroad. In 1991, the authority turned into the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
