Skopje, 18 January 2026 (MIA) — At the invitation of the Croatian movie distributor Restart, the Macedonian Cultural and Information Center in Zagreb has partnered with organizers of the premiere of Tamara Kotevska's "The Story of Siljan" and the documentary's distributors in Croatia, the Macedonian Cultural and Information Center in Zagreb said in a press release Sunday.

"This is an excellent and exclusive opportunity for the wider Croatian audience to see the latest successful achievement of Macedonian documentary filmmaking," the release said.

"Through such collaborations, the Macedonian Cultural and Information Center in Zagreb not only broadens the horizons of the regional cultural scene but also consistently and proudly presents Macedonian culture, filmmaking and authorship beyond national borders, building bridges of understanding, dialogue and cultural exchange," the center's director Mimi Gjorgoska Ilievska is quoted as saying in the release.

According to the Croatian movie distributor, "The Story of Siljan" will premiere at Zagreb's DokuKino movie theater on Jan. 28. The screening will be organized by Restart together with the Macedonian Cultural and Information Center in Zagreb and Volim Dokumentarce, a platform for the distribution of creative documentaries from former Yugoslavian states. mr/
